Shelagh Pearce LLB (Hons) and Stephen Taylor CTA (Fellow) ATT are partners in
Pearce Taylor Taxation, an independent firm based in Devon providing VAT
consultancy services to accountants, lawyers and other businesses. Stephen and
Shelagh are also contributors to CCH Tax Workflow and the British VAT Reporter.
Previous publications which they wholly or partly wrote include VAT in
Practice, VAT Planning and Tax on Property.
Stephen is currently a member of the technical committee of the Association of Taxation Technicians and a representative on the joint VAT Consultative Committee. He is a former chairman of the South West of England branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2012.
